This is my 14th year of teaching kindergarten in Hilliard City Schools. I have a Master’s of Education from the Ohio State University, and a Literacy Coordinator training certificate. My first four years of teaching, I was a kindergarten teacher and literacy coordinator. After that, I taught a.m. kindergarten and did 1st/2nd grade reading intervention. For the past six years, I have taught a.m. kindergarten only, and spend my afternoons with my two boys. This year, however, I am excited to return to teaching full-time and will be teaching both a.m. and p.m.
K at ADE! My passions as a teacher include allowing students to pursue their interests and passions, creativity, teaching children to read and write and to learn to love school. I am the proud parent of two beautiful boys, Nathan and Brendan. Nathan is in 2nd grade at ADE this year, and Brendan will be joining us in p.m. K at ADE. My hobbies include spending time with my family and friends, exercising, baking and children’s literature. I love kindergarten and hope that your kids love it as much as I do!
