The Hilliard School Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday, April 13, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. will be via video conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In accordance with the recent guidelines in H.B.197, the Ohio General Assembly and Attorney General have approved the use of virtual meetings as a viable alternative to conducting public hearings during this time, and the district’s alternative complies with the new statutory directives.
We will be broadcasting the meeting via Zoom. The link to the Zoom meeting will be available on the district’s website beginning at 4 p.m. on April 13, 2020. Individuals with questions about the Zoom link may email the technology Help Desk by 6 p.m. on April 13, 2020.
In lieu of the in-person public participation portion of the Board of Education meetings, persons may submit comments via email to Stacie_Raterman@hboe.org. Per Board policy, you must include your name and address. The commenter’s name and comments, up to 750 words, will be read into the public record and attached to the meeting minutes. All comments must be received a minimum of two hours prior to the start of the meeting and must contain your name and address and can not mention students or staff by name.
