We are facing an unprecedented challenge in public education.  The Coronavirus is now a world health pandemic; it has become a public health crisis in Ohio.  You can watch a short video message from the superintendent on our new COVID-19 web page.

Beginning on Monday, March 16, 2020 the Hilliard City Schools will follow the orders from the Governor of Ohio and close our schools.  This means our SACC program will also be closed.  All athletics and extra-curricular activities are canceled from now until Friday April 3, 2020 when we will reevaluate.  Our staff will continue working during this time.

With the announcement that we will begin eLearning next week we want to be sure our parents can use our learning management system, Canvas.  All parents have access to Canvas. Our “How to Use Canvas for Parents” course can help you understand and support your child when they do work or access resources from their teachers.  Parents can log into Canvas using the same username and password they use for Home Access Center.

Please be patient as we work through the next steps.  This is a fluid situation and things can change at any time.  You can find all updates on our COVID-19 webpage and we will continue to communicate with our families every step of the way.

Remember to follow us on Twitter (@AltonDarby) and on Facebook (@AltonDarbyHCSD).
