Hayden Mankin, a second year Academy Edu student, came to Alton Darby to teach students about coding and technology skills. He introduced the students to Ozobots. These are devices you can train to perform different skills. Students were challenged to plan and create sequences for the Ozobot to follow and then test their hypothesis to see if the Bot completed the task. After the students completed these programming tasks, Hayden taught them how to create code for the Bot and loaded the information from their iPads. Giving both the EDU students and our younger students authentic learning opportunities prepares them to be Ready for Tomorrow.
