ABOUT THE JAGUAR TIMES

The Jaguar Times is Hilliard Bradley High School’s daily news broadcast, airing during third period to keep students and staff up to date with the latest announcements, events, and stories. Led by Ms. Braemer, the class consists of 11 talented students (plus Walker the Jaguar) who work collaboratively to produce the daily news. With roles ranging from anchoring and reporting to camera operation, editing, and scriptwriting, The Jaguar Times broadcast team is committed to delivering a high-quality and engaging news program for you. Meet The Team

Maxwell Lowe
Senior
Editor-in-Chief
Maxwell Lowe is the Editor-in-Chief of The Jaguar Times. He is in his fourth year at The Jag Times and has been sports section editor and media lead in years past. Apart from his time at The Jag Times, he is the Varsity starting goalkeeper for the boys soccer team and Leader of Bradley faith club. When not at school or playing soccer, Max spends a lot of time at work and church. Max also enjoys relaxing at home and spending time with his family, normally playing sports outside with his siblings. His new favorite hobbies have become spike ball and pickleball, playing with his friends and family. At The Jag Times, he is most excited to produce fun long segments this year like the “Hot Ones” segment produced last year.
Ben Owens

Assistant Editor-in-Chief
Ben Owens is the assistant editor-in-chief and media lead for the Jag Times. He is a senior and has been a member of the Jag Times for two years. His favorite things to do at the Jag Times are anchoring and editing. He also is a member of the baseball team here at Hilliard Bradley. In his spare time, he loves to play golf, lift weights, listen to music, and watch sports.
Grant Chidester

Grant Chidester is a senior at Hilliard Bradley High School and is a Jag Times crew member. He takes pride in his work editing, anchoring, and making segments with the media team. Along with the Jag Times, he is also involved with Model UN, Bradley Ski & Board Club, and Echo Acappella.
Khalil Carlisle

Khalil Carlisle is in his second year on The Jag Times. Apart from his time at The Jag Times, he is apart of the Black Student Association. Khalil spends a lot of time playing video games, especially Pokemon, drawing art in order to attend the Columbus College of Art and Design, or watching anime. Khalil also enjoys being with friends, and helping them when in need. At The Jag Times, he is most excited to produce exciting segments this year, cover everything in Bradley, make friends and explore all life has to offer.
Jay Kaufman

Jay Kaufman is a staff member of The Jaguar Times. This is his first year at The Jag Times. Apart from his time here, Jay is the Costume & Props officer for Bradley’s Theater Troupe 7415 and participates in ECHO A cappella. When not onstage performing, Jay spends much of his time practicing lines, playing his instruments or writing and recording his own music. In Jay’s free time, he enjoys cooking and spending time with friends and family, usually going for coffee on weekends when there are no rehearsals. His favorite hobbies include the occasional woodworking, train-spotting and modeling. At The Jaguar Times, Jay is most excited to anchor on camera for the everyday news!
Calloway Savitz

Calloway Savitz is the new weatherman of the Jaguar Times. He is a senior and is known for being an honorary cheerleader of the Jag Football Team. Calloway enjoys tacos and BBQ sauce, and can often be seen around school drinking a Mountain Dew Baja Blast. He loves math, hanging out with his friends, and jamming to Slipknot! Calloway is excited for his senior year here at Bradley High School.
Isaac Brookins

Isaac Brookins is a Junior and this is his first year being on the Jaguar Times. He also runs Cross Country and distance events in Track. When not at school or on a run, Isaac likes to dress his cat in silly costumes, listen to music, and hangout with friends. His favorite activities with friends are watching movies and playing games, like Mario Kart. Being on the Jaguar Times, he is most excited for anchoring the news and fun segments.
Beckett Berning

Beckett Berning is a junior and this is his first year with the Jaguar Times. He plays baseball for the school and loves sports. He is excited to learn and help the school. He can’t wait to see his growth at the end of the year with everything he has learned.
Audrey Sese

Audrey Sese is a sophomore and staff member for The Jaguar Times. This is her first year with the publication, and she is excited to be a part of contributing to its broadcasts and media projects. Outside of school, Audrey pursues creative interests such as dance and art. She values spending time with friends and being involved with her community. She looks forward to gaining experience in broadcast production and playing an active role in sharing meaningful content with the school community.
Alec Bagchi

Alec Bagchi is a freshman staff member for The Jaguar Times. It's his first year on the team and he's excited to get started. Alec plays goalie for JV boys soccer and also plays tennis. He likes to fish whenever he gets the chance and is in Ski Club. He's looking forward to helping and being apart of The Jaguar Times this year.
Ruwayda Ismail Hassan

Ruwayda Ismail Hassan is a freshman staff member at The Jaguar Times. This is her first year working with the publication. She enjoys reading in her free time and also likes running track and field. Ruwayda is excited to be apart of the team and hopes to share interesting stories with her school. In her free time, she loves exploring new books and staying active. She’s happy to contribute and be involved in school activities.

I’m Walker the Jaguar, the official media representative and human resources officer for The Jaguar Times. This is my third year at this lovely establishment. I love attending sporting events and participating in school functions. I also enjoy long walks in the park and eating ice cream with tiny spoons to avoid brain freeze. I’m excited to roam around the school and meet different students. Rawr.
