Superintendent John Marschhausen shared the Hilliard City School District’s Restart Plan with our staff and community on July 7th. This plan represents months of work by a variety of teams; all focused on preparing for the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year.

The plan is intended to provide an overview of the three educational delivery scenarios and a fully online option that we are prepared for as a district:

  • All-In Plan: Fully in-person education
  • Hybrid Plan: A combination of in-person and online education
  • eLearning 2.0: Online education
  • Online Academy: Fully online education

The plan also outlines the health and safety measures that will be put in place to deliver in-person learning.

If you were unable to join the Zoom, you can find details from his presentation on our 2020/21 web page. There is also an FAQ page where you can find many answers to questions you might have.

Registration for the Hilliard Online Academy, a 100% online option, is currently open and the deadline for registration is July 24th.

Dr. Marschhausen will host another Community Q&A Zoom on July 14th at 6:30 pm.
