Students in the Family and Consumer Science class at Heritage Middle School had the opportunity to work with the King Arthur Flour Company on a community outreach program. A representative from the company taught students how to make bread during a recent class. All the students were sent home with donated flour and yeast. They were asked to bake a loaf of bread at home and bring it back to school. The bread will be donated to Star House, which is an Ohio State University organization serving homeless teens of Central Ohio. Collaboration with our business community is an essential part of how we prepare students to be Ready for Tomorrow. We are grateful to work with companies such as the King Arthur Flour Company.
