Shades of Blue Place Second at International Competition

Students performing

Congratulations to Hilliard Bradley High School Shades of Blue, premiere contemporary a cappella mixed vocal ensemble, for placing 2nd at their first ever ICHSA (International Championship High School A Cappella) Quarter-Finals Competition. The students are very excited to compete in the next level later this month. Shades of Blue is one of only approximately 70 groups from the United States to be performing in Semi-Finals! These 18 young men and women have dedicated so much time, effort, and passion these past several months, and have gone above and beyond in their performance and musicianship. This is a first for any Hilliard school! What an amazing accomplishment and representation of Hilliard on the national and international stage.

Shades of Blue is under the direction of Kristin Hodgson and Jeremy Witt. The 18 members of Shades of Blue auditioned from Bradley High Schools top choral ensemble, Symphonic Choir.
