Welcome to the Scioto Darby Elementary School website. You have come to a great place to learn. My name is Kayla Pinnick and I am the principal at Scioto Darby. I am starting my 3nd year as principal here and my 14th year in education. I can tell you that I am very lucky to be a part of this wonderful school family. The students, staff and community are the best around. Students here enjoy learning, strive to challenge themselves, help others and really take pride in their school. The staff has the best interests of the students at heart at all times and focuses on building relationships to assist in achieving student success. The parents and community are so giving and supportive. The parental/community involvement here is unprecedented, as volunteers step up time and time again for our students. As you can see, the Scioto Darby family is very strong. We have been rated “Excellent” by the Ohio Department of Education 6 years in a row! I hope you love it here as much as I do.
