The Olentangy Indian Caverns is a field trip students go on in third grade. The students will be about 120 feet underground in Ohio White Limestone caves for about an hour. Down in the caverns third graders will see stalactites, stalagmites, fossils and they might get to meet “Jimmy.” Third graders will learn how the caves were formed and Ohio Native American History. Third graders always have a great time down in the Olentangy Caverns.
