Attendance
Summer school attendance is extremely important and relates directly to credits earned towards graduation. One absence per session is allowed. Attendance is mandatory on the last day of class for each session, as there will be a final examination. Three tardies are equal to one absence. If students exceed the limit of three tardies, credit will not be awarded for that session. Please consider this policy during the registration process.

ATTENTION OUT-OF-DISTRICT STUDENTS:Out-of-district students are students who do not attend Hilliard City Schools during the school year. These students will need to pay the additional costs for Hilliard City Schools Summer School. Further, Hilliard City Schools does not guarantee credit for courses offered to out-of-district students. This can only be done by the school district that the out-of-district student attends. All out-of-district students need to consult their home school guidance counselors before signing up for Hilliard City Schools’ summer courses to establish credit guidelines for these courses.

Grading
Letter grades of A, B, C, D and F will be given. Credit will count toward graduation
and will be factored into the GPA. If taken for grade replacement, the summer school grade will
be the grade for the GPA.
