Sports Illustrated names Davidson as top dog in Ohio

(Hilliard City Schools, Hilliard, Ohio) – Hilliard Davidson High School has the best athletic program in the state, says Sports Illustrated this week.

The magazine names top programs in each state annually after analyzing a variety of factors including state tournament results, quality of athletes and all-around success. The rankings were posted on the magazine’s website this week.

“I am very pleased and excited,” Mark Princehorn, Davidson’s athletic director said. “This is a great tribute to the coaches, students and entire school community.”
Aside from winning this year’s state title in varsity football, the school with 14 varsity sports, has a rich championship history () with scores of titles at the district, regional and state levels.
