Kindergarten Students Go Around the World

The young explorers at Hilliard Crossing Elementary are travelling the world. Each student has a passport which gets stamped every time they enter a new country. In each country they are reading about new cultures, learning how to speak some of the language, discovering new foods and seeing how the children play.

In Russia they wrote about Grandmas or the Babushka as they are called. They kept track of the weather in Russia and compared it to Hilliard. They went on a mini safari in Australia. They became scientists in Brazil and discovered new plants in the rain forest. The students also visited India, Iran, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico and South Africa.

By embracing new worlds and being inspired to learn other cultures, these students are Ready for Tomorrow.
