Science Department

Hilliard Station's Science Team is devoted to delivering lessons that help students develop scientific literacy. We focus on literacy and inquiry based teaching methods, that encourage curiousity as well as a solid use of the scientific method to test hypothesis.

Students will experience Earth and Space, Life, and Physical and Technological Sciences. Parents can expect their child to make connections about inter-connected cycles and systems of the universe, solor system, and Earth. In Life Sciences, we delve into the structures and functions of living things. Physical Sciences will aim at properties of matter.
