Talent Show Performers: Everyone but Given’s act has practice tonight after school, plan for your ride to be here no later than 4pm.

The Darby Football Booster is selling the game-worn light blue jerseys.  Relive your glory days or simply own a piece of Darby Football history for $40.  These were the first ever blue jerseys in program history and we went UNDEFEATED in them!
Just send an e-mail to Mr. Bope with the number you’d like and he will let you know if it’s available.  Send the money to school with your child and the jersey will be waiting for them.
OR
Mr. Bope will also be selling them at lunch during the final week of school.  Have your child pick a number or choose from the various jerseys available during lunch and go home with it that day!  It’s that simple!

These will be great to wear on Friday during football season or on Spirit Days.  DON’T MISS OUT! These are very rare!  Sales are opening up to both Darby and Heritage students!  Act fast!  Cash or check is accepted.  Make checks out to the GRIDIRON CLUB.  Thanks & GO PANTHERS!

Teen Summer Internship Program:  The Hilliard Free Lunch Summer Camp for Kids welcomes low income children from culturally diverse backgrounds to join us daily for friendship, recreation, special activities and a nutritious, free lunch.  They will also learn business concepts from leaders in the community and actively participate in a child-run restaurant gaining invaluable entrepreneurial, service, and leadership skills.

Serving Our Neighbors (SON) Ministries is seeking Teen Interns to act as positive role models while playing with and building relationships with the children we serve at this camp. In addition, the Interns will support the staff with camp operations including camp set up, clean up and running camp activities.

Teen Interns must commit to a minimum of FOUR weeks (Monday-Friday) of their choice between June 14th – July 28, 2017.  We also ask them to create a blog post about their experience and lead one activity.  Training will be provided.  This is an unpaid Teen Internship position. However, this is an amazing opportunity to work with children while developing leadership, organizational and people skills. Interns will track and receive a signed copy of internship hours for National Honor Society, service clubs and college or employment applications. Upon successful completion of the internship, teens will also receive an individualized letter of recommendation.

Additional information about Teen Internships and instructions on how to apply can be found on the home page of our website – http://son-ministries.org/
