Girls Basketball: This weekend the Panther girl’s 7th grade basketball team defeated Lexington 54-32 improving their record to 3-0. Leading scorers for the Panthers were Ashley Powers with 18 points and Ashley Cox with 14. The Heritage Wrestling Teams competed this weekend in 2 different tournaments. The “A” team wrestled at Darby and was able to get 3rd place. The team was victorious against Gahanna, Reynoldsburg, and Olentangy Orange. The “B” team wrested at Memorial against some tough competition. It was a great day of wrestling! Nice job Panthers.

Lost & Found: There are many lost coats, jackets, lunch boxes, shirts, pants & water bottles on the tables in the main entrance hall. If you have lost any of these items would you please check out the tables. At the end of day on December 15th we will be bagging them up and donating them.
Student Genius Bar:
Any student who wants to apply for Genius Bar next semester can complete the online application beginning today. The link will be on the school webpage.
This Friday, December 8th, is the Barnes & Noble book fair. You can either join us at the store between 5 and 8 or make an online purchase from home by using our purchase code. We will be raffling off some great prizes, holding a scavenger hunt and many other activities. Plan now to attend!
Do you enjoy speaking your mind? Would you like to earn some cold, hard cash doing so? If so, Then the Oratorical Club is for you!! Oratorical Club helps students prepare for the local Optimist Club’s speech contest, which will be held on March 3rd this year at the Heritage Golf Course banquet facility beginning at 9 am. Several Hilliard students have earned monetary prizes in the past, and some have even advanced to compete for a college scholarship at the state level. To find out more, come to the informational meeting that will explain everything, on Tuesday, December 5th, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in room 209, The Panther Center, at Heritage Middle School.
