Congratulations to the Darby Ethics Bowl Teams!
Congratulations to both Darby Ethics Bowls teams for their excellent performances at the Ohio High School Regional Ethics Bowl Contest, held at the University of Findlay on Saturday, January 27th. Darby’s team of juniors Kayla Moore, Miranda Palovchik, Maggie West, and Halle Atkinson and freshman Kaden Moore won an impressive two rounds out of three, and our other Darby team comprised of seniors Olivia Schmitt, Kristen Mamula, Varsha Siddavarapu, and Ashley Conomy won all three preliminary rounds, then lost in the final round of the competition by only one point! Both teams did tremendously well in representing Darby at this state-level competition. Way to go, Panthers!

Here are Milo’s adventures in the Land of Wisdom, where he’s forced to think about many new things. Milo learns of the argument between King Azaz and his brother, the Mathemagician, whose disagreement over words and numbers has led to the banishment of Princesses Sweet Rhyme and Pure Reason. Milo is dispatched to rescue the princesses from the Land of Ignorance. Armed with the knowledge and skills he picks up on his journey, Milo rescues the princesses. When he must return home, Milo bids farewell to his new friends, knowing his attitude toward learning will never be the same.
