Hilliard Darby Theatre Presents “How to Succeed in Business, Without Really Trying”

Book By : Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock, and Willie Gilbert
Music & Lyrics By: Frank Loesser
Based upon the book by Shepgerd Mead
Originally presented by CY FEUER and ERNEST H. MARTIN
in Association with FRANK PRODUCTIONS.

Venue: Darby Performing Arts Center

Performance Dates: April 21 and 22 at 7:00
April 23 at 3:00

Big business means big laughs in this delightfully clever lampoon of life on the corporate ladder. A tune-filled comic gem that took Broadway by storm, winning both the Tony Award for Best Musical and a Pulitzer Prize, How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying boasts an exhilarating score by Frank Loesser, including “I Believe in You,” “Brotherhood of Man” and “The Company Way.”
A satire of big business and all it holds sacred, How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying follows the rise of J. Pierrepont Finch, who uses a little handbook called How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying to climb the corporate ladder from lowly window washer to high-powered executive, tackling such familiar but potent dangers as the aggressively compliant “company man,” the office party, backstabbing coworkers, caffeine addiction and, of course, true love. An irreverent and tuneful romp, jam-packed with sly, swift and sharp jabs to the funny bone, How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying is a surefire hit!

This year we are offering two (2) purchase options.  The first is a two (2) cubic foot bag of Ohio Mulch “Absolute Black” Shredded Mulch.  Ohio Mulch “Absolute Black” Shredded Mulch is a color enhanced substitute for natural hardwood mulch.  It has been colored to provide a vivid, long-lasting black color.  Each two (2) cubic foot bag of mulch costs $5.00.  The per bag pricing includes delivery to any location within the Hilliard City School District boundaries.  There is a minimum order of five (5) bags.

Also being offered are Ohio Mulch Gift Cards which are available in $25.00, $50.00, and $100.00 denominations.  These Ohio Mulch Gift Cards are redeemable at any Ohio Mulch location and may be used for the purchase of any Ohio Mulch product.
