VoiceThread is a great Web-based digital storytelling program where users can upload pictures or documents, record audio or video commentary, and invite others to record commentary as well. With VoiceThread teachers and students can create virtual tours, report on books they've read, comment on historically significant photographs, debate a topic, and more.
Elementary students should login using their individual logins to begin creating their very own VoiceThread!
Google Apps is available for all students in Grades 3-5 and any staff who have a personal computer login in Hilliard! (Students will need to use their own account to access Google Apps; class accounts do not work for this site.)
Google Apps gives you the ability to create reports, spreadsheets and presentations online. You don't need any software. And, you can get to your Google Apps at school and at home. To learn more about Google Apps, take a look at the video or how-to below.
