Monday's Announcements

  • Chess Club’s first meeting will be Tuesday Oct. 7 after school in room 222.
  • There are still copies of 'The Wildcat' on sale. Stop by our table during lunch today and get your copy for $1.
  • Reminder- there is a Spanish Club meeting at 3pm this Tuesday Oct 7th in room 210.  See you there!
  • There will be an Interact meeting this Friday Oct. 10th in room 111 at 3pm.  We will be discussing our fall fundraiser.
  • The ASVAB Career Exploration Program can help you take steps now toward finding a career that's right for you.  The test will be administered by the military on November 3rd from 7:40 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in the upper gym of Hilliard Davidson. If you would like to sign up to take the test, talk to your guidance counselor.
  • Family Career and Community Leaders of America will have their meeting tomorrow (Tuesday Oct. 7) at 3:00 in room 125.  Projects for the year will be discussed so please plan to attend.  National Membership dues are $13 and need to be paid by the end of October.
  • Would you like to try different Hispanic foods? Are you interested in learning different Latino dances? Then join the Cultural Awareness Club in the field house after school today for dance lessons, snacks and conversation with Davidson's Hispanic students. Free for Cultural Awareness Club members, $1.00 for all others.
  • Reminder that gymnastics conditioning is tonight from 4:15-5:30 in the Davidson wrestling room. Bring your tennis shoes!
  • New Students to Davidson: Please sign up at the Ambassador table during lunch periods Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. You will get information about receiving a student ambassador, the new student breakfast and much more. We're excited to have your here at Davidson this year and we can't wait to meet you.
  • Any girls interested in playing softball this spring-not in a fall sport-please attend an informational meeting this Friday after school in Modular D-2.
  • Attention all girls who are interested in running track and are not involved in a winter sport! There will be a mandatory meeting on Wednesday October 8th in rm 247 immediately after school. This meeting will be a brief informational meeting and you must attend to receive the material.
