Friday's Announcements

  • Hilliard Davidson Spirit banners will be sold at lunch on Friday!  The Davidson Drumline is selling "retractable" banners that are blue on one side and say "Hilliard Davidson", and are completely white on the other.  Perfect for the "white out" against Coffman!!  The banners are $10 a piece, or buy two for $15!!
  • There will be an interest meeting for the Gymnastics team on Sunday at 7:30pm at Fliptastic Gymnastics for any girl interested in participating on the Gymnastics team this season. ~It is mandatory that at least one parent is present with you at this meeting.
  • Attention all students interested in Swim Team. There will be an organizational meeting after school October 15th in the commons. Please plan to attend.
  • There will be an interact meeting today in room 111 at 3pm.  We will be discussing our fall fundraiser.
  • SLAM JAM!   Attention poets and writers:  As part of the theatre programs ARTS FOR ALL initiative this year, we are soliciting original poetry reading for SLAM JAM tomorrow at 7 p.m. in the Experimental Theatre - room 70.  Bring your original poetry and share it.  Admission to the event is FREE and coffee and snacks will be available for purchase.  Acoustical music will also be provided.  Hang out and groove to the words and the music.  Questions, see Mr. Crawford or Mrs. Vance.
  • Ski and Board Club info is available in rooms 212 and 164.  We will go to Mad River on Tuesdays.  There is also a weekend trip to Seven Springs January 30th.  Space is limited for both activities.  The first 40 students to pay their bus fares or Seven Springs deposits will get a FREE t-shirt!
  • Jostens will be here to take orders and deposits for class rings on Tuesday, October 14, during lunch periods.  Bring your order form and a $50 deposit.  Extra packets are available in the Main Office.
  • Jostens will return to take Senior orders and deposits for Cap and Gowns and Senior Announcements on Tuesday, October 21 during lunch periods.  Remember to bring your order and deposit. Order packets are available in the main office.
  • Any girls interested in playing softball this spring-not in a fall sport-please attend an informational meeting today after school in Modular D-2.
  • The cheerleaders have a limited number of Crush Coffman hoodies available for $10!  The sweatshirts will be available in room 207 BEFORE SCHOOL and AFTER SCHOOL today in room 203.  Sizes and numbers are limited so act early!  Go Cats!
  • Anyone interested in Book Club - we will have a meeting today from 3 to 3:30 in room 70 to kick off this year's club.  Questions, contact Mrs. Vance.
  • A bag containing shorts and a tee shirt was left on bus 110 this morning.  Come to the main office to claim it.
  • Pre-sale tickets for the football game at Dublin Coffman will be available in the athletic office today from 8:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m. Student tickets are $4.00. Adult tickets are $6.00. Visiting senior citizen tickets are $4.00.  Please purchase your tickets early to avoid standing in line at Coffman on Friday.  Go Cats!   
  • Thanks to all the seniors who left the paint at home today!   Also, a reminder to SENIORS ONLY.  There will be a Senior Only Tailgate in the Senior Lot today starting at 4:30 PM.  There will be free pizza, soda, corn hole, music and fun.  Please plan to stop by.  We will also have paint & streamers for your car.  We will have a caravan departing for Coffman from the parking lot at 6:15PM.   See you there--and GOODLUCK CATS!
  • Help the Salvation Army by donating new or gently used warm winter coats for Coats for Columbus. Drop off the coat in the boxes outside the main office, by the Avery road doors, and downstairs by the elevator. Children’s sizes and XXL sizes are especially needed. See Youssra Saqr or Mrs. Flanagan with any questions.
