Teaching Positions
Hilliard City Schools accepts employment applications year-round. Individuals interested in any teaching/tutoring or substitute positions should apply online. In order to ensure your application is as accurate as possible, we encourage you to periodically update your information. All additional information (cover letters, certificate/license, transcripts, resume, etc.) may also be uploaded per directions in the online application materials, or if selected for a personal interview you may provide copies at that time. Please do not submit additional information and copies to schools or the district office.
Current students should note that we understand you may be unable to transmit copies of teaching licenses and transcripts at this time. Lack of these documents will not prevent your application from being considered, but should be added to your application via upload at the time of their receipt. Please do not ask your colleges/universities to mail credentials.
If for some reason you are unable to complete an online application,
please contact the Hilliard City Schools Human Resources Department,
(614) 921-7099, so that we may assist you.

On the 61st day in a long-term assignment the pay goes to contract rate (wherever they fall on the teachers' salary schedule).
