Audit and Accountability Committee

Terri Berchak is an Operations Auditor for Safe Auto Insurance Company. She is a certified internal auditor and a certified government audit professional. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Business Management, as well as an MBA, with a leadership focus, from Franklin University. Ms. Berchak graduated from Hilliard High School in 1984.

Les Carrier is a Structured Settlement Consultant in Financial Settlement Services for Nationwide Insurance. He has expertise in budgeting, cost reduction, legal and regulatory, marketing strategy, as well as, mediation and negotiation. Mr. Carrier holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration from Ohio University and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Toledo College of Law.

Shawn Hiller is Vice President - Controller Cedar Enterprises, Inc. He is responsible for overseeing financial management, payroll and benefits facilitation for 135 Wendy’s restaurants nationwide. Mr. Hiller is a certified public accountant.

Ed Sarkel is Manager of Financial Analysis in Commercial Operations at American Electric Power. He has broad financial experience in the areas of budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, financial reporting, profitability and valuation. He holds an MBA from The Ohio State University.

David Snyder is a Business Manager for Honeywell at its Aircraft Lighting Product Development Center where his focus is on performance measurement systems related to new product development. His experience includes being a financial analyst, controller, and IT manager. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Youngstown State University and an MBA from Franklin University. Mr. Snyder is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mike Stoner is a Managing Partner for A&S Investment Group, LLC. He has 30 years of financial and executive experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, capital structure, leadership, operational efficiency, financial analysis, informational technology, and human resources.

Doug Maggied and Andy Teater will represent the Board of Education on the Audit and Accountability Committee.
