Hilliard Darby High School is a learning community united to inspire life-long learning, by establishing a safe school environment that promotes diversity, teamwork and a strong work ethic. Together we strive to empower students within our classroom and beyond through quality work and memorable learning experiences.
We believe Hilliard Darby High is a community committed to:

Hilliard Darby High School Philosophy
The central concern of Hilliard Darby High School is the development of the total individual, contributing to his or her social, intellectial, affective, physical, and career development requirements. The school through its staff expresses this concern by recognizing the uniqueness of each individual at the same time that it stresses the need for social responsonsibility in a free environment.
In specific, we recognize that this concern may be most effectively addressed when a student is able to communicate through both oral and written media we are cognizant of the student's need for a knowledge base in the content areas of mathematics, science, humanities, and practical technology. Through a program which exposes the student to purely factual, interpretative, and openly speculative knowledge,we expect to facilitate the student's ability to confidently, yet realistically, find a position from which he or she may best contribute quality of life and social involvement.
