Brendan Moody, Head Varsity Coach

Brendan Moody is the Head Coach of the Hilliard Darby Wrestling Program.  Brendan is a 2002 graduate of Hilliard Darby High School and went on to compete in wrestling at Kent State University under Coach Frank Ramano and Coach Jim Andrassy.  Brendan began his wrestling Coaching career at Stow-Monroe Falls High School as an Assistant Coach under Randy Jenkins.  In Brendan’s three years as an assistant at Stow, the program earned a WRC Championship, 5 State Qualifiers, 3 State Placers, 1 State Finalist, and 9 District Placers.  In the 2009, Brendan became the Head Wrestling Coach at Hilliard Darby High School.  In his seven years at the helm, Darby has amassed 17 State Qualifications, 6 State Placers, 20 District Placements, an OCC Championship, a Sectional Championship, and owns a Regional Runner-Up finish.  Brendan is currently an Account Manager at SignAffects Limited and works under legendary business man and wrestling enthusiast Paul Lyda.  Brendan resides in Columbus, Ohio.
