Record Setting Year for Community Recycling Day!

recycling13The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Committee organized a record setting Go Blue, Be Green Community Recycling Day. The students unloaded more than 665 cars full of paper items to be shredded or electronic and metal items to be recycled. They also collected more than $150 in donations for Son Ministries which runs a free summer lunch program for area students in need. The students provided a valuable community service thanks in large part to the event sponsors:
