THERE'S A PROBLEM WITH MY YEARBOOK.

Before writing in your book, check carefully to make sure there are no printing flaws in your book such as: blank pages, upside down pages, missing pages, printing smears. If you discover any of these or other flaws, please bring book to Ms. Stewart before you write in the book. Once you have written in the book, it's yours to keep! Once you have made sure there are no major flaws in your book, write your name in it for better insurance against theft.

If you have any complaints about the book, or recommendations for next year, please put them in writing, suggest a way to solve the problem, and bring it to room 237. This is a student publication. Although we have made every attempt to make this an accurate account of the year, some errors are bound to occur.

We hope you enjoy the current edition of the Legacy. The Legacy staff welcomes positive comments and criticism. However, the public must realize that the yearbook is the product of a high school classroom. Many of the students have no prior experience with journalism writing or design. This is not an adult product; it is a 200+ page yearbook created between the months of September and June by teenagers for a teenage audience.

If the purchaser has a comment or complaint about the current volume of the yearbook, it must be made in writing within 10 days of distribution(roughly the last week of September). Letters should be short and to the point with specific references to pages. Verbally abusive and accusatory language will not be accepted. How do I order a yearbook?

You may order this year's Legacy yearbook by contacting Jostens at 1-866-282-1516 or by visiting the Jostens website at www.jostens.com. All payments go directly to Jostens,not to the high school. All Hilliard Darby yearbooks purchased through Jostens are shipped to the buyers' homes in the fall. Extra yearbooks will be available at Hilliard Darby in the fall after the books have been shipped to the student buyers. Extra books are in limited supply. Contact the yearbook office at 921-7382 for current pricing of extra books. These will always cost more than yearbooks ordered on time.

What if I move?

Because all Hilliard Darby yearbooks are shipped to the buyers' homes, it is essential that Jostens has the correct mailing address. If you move after ordering your book or prior to its shipping in the fall, you must contact Darby's Jostens rep Terry Tomek at (614)777-0757 or by email at tomekt@jostens.com and give him the correct mailing address.
