The Hilliard City Schools Board of Education members
are elected officials serving our school district.
The Board meets the second and fourth Monday of each month
at 7:00 p.m. Meetings held during the summer months meet at the
Administrative Offices at 5323 Cemetery Rd. During the school year,
the meetings rotate to school buildings across the district. Board
meetings are open to the public.

Functions of the Board:
- Develop policies that ensure that the school system is responsive
to the needs of parents and students and accountable to taxpayers.
- Provide leadership in building a community to serve and ensure
that the schools serve the community.
- Ensure that the district and community have the capacity to
support the kind of changes necessary to improve continuously
the quality of education in Hilliard.
- Discern and articulate the kind of education the parents
in the Hilliard learning community want for their children, and
ensure that this is the kind of education that is provided to
all children.
