Students looking for more study time are encouraged to work at the ILC after school and on weekends. Any student in grades 6-12 can work collaboratively or alone in any of the work spaces.
Already there are many students using the ILC after hours. Kalie Hendricks, a junior at Hilliard Darby High School, is part of the career mentorship program. She says students should take advantage of this opportunity to study for exams this week. “The extended hours allow me a lot more time to prepare myself for my mentorship presentation exam next week in front of my peers and guests,” Hendricks said.
Teachers are also using the ILC after hours. They can hold review sessions to give students more help on their own time. Giving students options like the ILC after hours allows them more time to prepare for exams, and makes them Ready for Tomorrow.
In order to use the evening hours at the ILC, Hilliard City School Students must register here.
